Mentoring
Mentoring is a big part of the Toastmasters Journey.
What Is A Mentor?
A Toastmaster mentor helps guide a new member in their Toastmaster experience– offering knowledge, insight, and perspective. As a new member, your Mentor will help you become familiar with meeting roles, and also provide encouragement so you can participate in meetings quickly.
Mentors are experienced members that can explain the Toastmasters Journey – the program, the roles, the agendas, and where to find information. They are an invaluable resource to also help you prepare and rehearse your first three speeches.
